Gathered by Grace established the Life Happens Fund to, when possible, assist members of the River Region in times of personal financial emergency. We realize we all may find ourselves in a situation in life where we need the support of the community; Gathered by Grace wants to be able to provide that support. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Since the Life Happens Fund began, Gathered by Grace has provided $51,660 in financial assistance. This includes assistance provided to help our neighbors through Covid-19. Help us expand our reach with your donations – 100% of donations to the Life Happens Fund goes directly to applicants.

As a beneficiary of this fund, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with a financial counselor, at no cost to you. This session aims to help you assess your finances, create a budget, and receive personalized recommendations for improving your financial well-being. The assistance provided is a gift, and there is no obligation for repayment.
